Destination: Anywhere. Imagine the flexibility of a boat with a fully enclosed cabin that fits nicely in a standard size shipping container. US Workboats is a step ahead of the remote location issue. Designed in two pieces, this monohull fire boat can be delivered anywhere in the world that can be reached by a shipping container. The comparatively low shipping cost combined with the value of the US Workboats vessel makes this the most competitive package in the industry.

"The Hero" is an ultra-shallow draft vessel for emergency and disaster response. Needing only inches of water to navigate when paired with waterjet outboards, the Hero is made to get where other boats cannot. The large foredeck and landing gate can be used for delivering cargo or for evacuation purposes. The Hero is in a class of its own in fire fighting support with more than 1,000 GPM delivered through two monitors via a US Workboats developed system.

Adding to the advantages of choosing a catamaran platform, diesel inboard engines paired to water jets combine speed with maneuverability to make the ultimate fire fighting vessels. Diesel engines are known for longevity while water jets also offer low maintenance costs. The resulting vessels offer an extended operating life and long term value for investment. The fire systems include options for multiple monitors, foam systems(s), de-watering valve(s) and more.

We specialize in catamaran fire boats where the speed and stability of our hull makes a life saving difference. We carefully engineer the fire fighting system to accelerate water through manual and remote controlled monitors. The fore deck accepts an ATV through the bow door with space enough to provide perimeter access to the entire vessel, including the custom designed diver/swimmer recovery stations. The climate controlled superstructure has 360 degree window coverage with overhead panes for added light and visibility.

The monohull fire boat exhibits versatile emergency response in record time. Twin high horse power outboards deliver an impressive top speed and good fuel consumption. The landing gate serves as the loading point for stretchers and gurneys to dedicated stowage locations on board. The fire system makes more than 1500 GPM through a dedicated engine and pump mounted below deck. The custom electronics (complete with lights, IR camera and comms) make this a state-of-the-art vehicle.

The twin hull configuration results in a big boat feel and platform more stable than the monohull alternative. The walk around work deck comes standard with hydraulic bow ramp for beach access or dive support. Multiple choices for outboard provide sprint speeds of more than 45 knots. Engine driven pumps are mounted on the aft deck with proper sea chest suction. The system can be plumbed to one or more monitors.
